EINSTEIN DREAMS OF POSTERS
This typographic experiment is inspired by the book “Einstein’s Dreams” by Alan Lightman, a fictional collage about different conceptions of time. Since repetition and movement are common themes throughout the novel, the poster uses recurrent graphic patterns while creating a sense of movement as the letters jump outwards. The high contrasting black-and-white letters give an optical illusion effect. As a stylistic nod to the early 1900s, the time when “Einstein’s Dreams” is set, the poster features a modified version of the Alternate Gothic font from 1903.
